Lektronis L3K is a simple and straightforward Bluetooth solution for all intercom-compatible helmets that will delight first-time buyers and seasoned intercom users alike.

L3K lets you listen to music, hear instructions from navigation or answer phone calls – and even has integrated voice control.

The intercom unit itself is designed to be as discreet and streamlined as possible, but despite its impressive small form factor, the Lektronis L3K delivers an equally impressive sound quality that easily rivals more expensive alternatives on the market.

The Lektronis L3K kit consists of the intercom unit, speakers with wiring harness, USB-A to USB-C charging cable, one boom microphone ideal for pilot or flip-up helmets and one lavalier microphone suitable for full-face helmets. Also included are Velcro straps for attaching the speakers, an intercom unit and foam pads to move the speakers closer to the ears – in short, the kit contains all necessary and imaginable accessories.

Easy and discreet installation

Carefully remove the liner from the helmet. Locate the cut-out next to each ear on the inside of the helmet, while conveniently finding a suitable location for the microphone, depending on which type you want to use, and place the two Velcro pads that fit the speakers. Then mount the speakers and microphone on the Velcro pads and route the cables along the inner shell of the helmet – it’s a good idea to follow the curve of the shell and secure the cables with tape along the way. Remember to keep in mind which side of the helmet you want the intercom unit on – we recommend the left side. When the connector for the intercom unit is routed to the desired side and free from the inside of the helmet, insert the liner back into the helmet, remembering to attach all parts of the liner correctly. Take one of the two 3M Dual Lock Velcro pieces and attach it to the back of the intercom unit and attach the large Velcro piece to the outside of the helmet, make sure the cable can reach it. Clean the surfaces of dirt and debris before attaching.
